Adult college planning topic of workshops

BANGOR – Adults considering attending college are invited to participate in a free college planning workshop sponsored by the Maine Educational Opportunity Center.

MEOC helps adult students to overcome class, social, academic and cultural barriers to higher education. Services include assistance in choosing a college, tutoring and personal, financial and career counseling. MEOC will offer the Essentials of College Planning Workshop at the following times and locations:

. 9 a.m.-noon Tuesday, March 16, Training & Development Corp., Bangor.

. 9 a.m.-noon Tuesday, March 23, Park Woods, Bangor.

. 12:30-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, Adult Learning Center, Bangor.

. 9 a.m.-noon Tuesday, March 23, Dexter Adult Education office.

. Noon-3 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, Dexter Training and Development Corp.
