The Bangor Lumberjacks have signed former Bangor and Adirondack infielder Mitsuru Kobayashi and right-handed pitcher Mark Messina, a rookie out of Binghamton University.

Kobayashi hit .225 with eight stolen bases and 10 RBIs but played only 25 games after undergoing back surgery.
