Windsor Chairmaker Inc. in Ellsworth has added a new facet to its business by acquiring a line of handblown glass and pottery from Simon Pearce, owner Marc Blanchette announced recently.
“My customers kept asking for a more formal but yet period interior accent piece to go with their furnishings,” Blanchette said in a statement. “In chatting with my customers, the name Simon Pearce kept popping up.”
Pearce has headquarters in Windsor, Vt., where glassblowers and potters make everything on-site. Blanchette started Windsor Chairmaking with his wife, Diane, in 1994.
