Four skiers will represent the Maine Winter Sports Center and Aroostook County at the Junior Olympics for cross country skiing this week in Lake Placid, N.Y.

Chelsae Jarvis, Heather Zimmerman and Annalise Cook will accompany Junior Olympic veteran Russell Currier at the event for high school-age skiers.

Cook and Currier qualified after representing the U.S. at the Biathlon Junior World Championships last month. Zimmerman and Jarvis advanced after top performances in the Eastern Cup and Cross Country Skiing Nationals.
