Maine National History Day is an annual educational competition open to students in grades 6-12. Participating students explore a broad historical theme by preparing papers, projects or presentations.

The competition in Maine is organized through the Maine State Archives, and conducted in cooperation with National History Day. Maine’s competition will be held in Augusta on April 8, with finalists advancing to the National Finals in June.
