AUGUSTA – State Rep. Susanne Ketterer, D-Madison, has pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and lost her license for 90 days.

Ketterer was arrested in February after Augusta police noticed she was driving erratically. Police reports say she had a blood alcohol content of 0.20 percent, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08 percent.

Ketterer pleaded guilty last week and was ordered to pay a $400 fine and perform three days of community service in an alternative sentencing program.

Ketterer, who lives in Madison, is the wife of former state Attorney General Andrew Ketterer.

“I hope my entire experience serves as a reminder and a deterrent to others,” she said.
