Raptors sweep Braves

FORT PIERCE, Fla. – Rutgers University-Camden posted a pair of shutouts over Husson College of Bangor Monday.

In the first game, the Raptors received a home run each from Becky Johnson and Maureen Baney en route to a 7-0 victory. Johnson tossed a two-hitter and struck out 12.

Stacy Wright and Carolyn McAvoy had the lone hits for the Braves.

In the second game, Autumn Millett hit a three-run homer and Michelle Schlichtig hurled a one-hitter and also struck out 12 as the Raptors won 12-0.

McAvoy had the Braves’ only hit.
