Lora Trenkle of Surry, a 5-foot-9 senior guard at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, has been named a finalist for the 2004 NCAA Division III Kodak/Women’s Basketball Coaches Association All-America Basketball Team.

Trenkle, a graduate of George Stevens Academy in Blue Hill, has led top-ranked Bowdoin to its first-ever appearance in the Division III Final Four that begins Friday at Norfolk, Va. Trenkle previously was named the New England Small College Athletic Conference Player of the Year.

Among players joining Trenkle on the Region 1 All-America Team is Jen Webster, a 5-11 senior forward from the University of Southern Maine in Gorham. Webster led the Huskies to the Division III Round of 16, where they lost to Bowdoin last Friday.
