BANGOR – More than 20 skaters of all ages, and guest skaters Tessa McCue of Hampden and Nick Santillo of Florida, will be part of the fifth annual exhibition of the Penobscot Figure Skaters at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 21, at Sawyer Arena on 13th Street. McCue and Santillo train at the New England Sports Center in Marlboro, Mass., with former Olympic coach Barbara Kossowska.

Coach Nancy Graham of Surry, a four-time United States pairs champion, 1960 Olympic bronze medalist and a member of the U.S. Figure Skating Hall of Fame, will join coaches Melissa Emerson, Katherine Perry and Kissy Crowell-Smith at the event.

Ten-year-old Max Louscher of Bangor, who also trains at the New England Sports Center, will skate a solo program in the exhibition. Max recently earned first place in a sports center competition.

Admission to the skating exhibition is free, but donations are accepted.

Coach Barbara Kossowska will conduct a skating clinic from 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. Saturday, March 20, at Alfond Arena on the University of Maine campus in Orono. Skaters participating in the clinic are from area skating clubs and have pre-registered. The public is invited to view the skating clinic.
