University of Maine sophomore goaltender Jimmy Howard has been named the Hockey East CCM Player of the Week for the first time. Howard stopped 84 of 85 shots in two HE tournament victories last weekend and was named HE tourney MVP.
Mike Hamilton
UMaine freshman forward Mike Hamilton has been named Hockey East Superskills Hockey Rookie of the Week. Hamilton scored the lone goal in Maine’s 1-0 victory over Boston University in the HE semifinals last Friday.
