PORTLAND – Ryan Gamache, making his professional debut after a nearly two-year absence from the ring, will be the main attraction in a 10-bout boxing card Saturday night at the Lewiston Multi-Purpose Center.

Gamache, 18, of Lewiston, is the nephew of Joey Gamache, the former junior lightweight and lightweight world champion who compiled a 55-4 record, with 38 knockouts, during a 14-year career that ended in 2000.

Ryan Gamache’s four-round lightweight bout against Joey Lazarda of Lowell, Mass., will mark his first time in the ring since he fought in the Junior Olympic national tournament in Michigan.
