ABC is moving its struggling “Stephen King’s Kingdom Hospital” this week from Wednesdays at 10 p.m. to Thursdays at 9 p.m. opposite the No. 1 dramatic series, CBS’ “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” and NBC’s red-hot reality show “The Apprentice.” The King thriller is switching places with “Extreme Makeover,” which moves to its new time slot April 14. The two-hour premiere April 7 of the latest edition of ABC’s “The Bachelor” will move up to 9 p.m.

In other ABC programming news, Madeleine L’Engle’s childhood classic “A Wrinkle in Time” has been adapted into a three-hour “Wonderful World of Disney” presentation set to air May 15. Alfre Woodward, Kate Nelligan, Alison Elliott and Chris Potter star in the fantasy about an astrophysicist who disappears without a trace.
