Child care providers target of training

OLD TOWN – The Penquis Community Action Program Resource Development Center is offering “Introduction to Tummy Time” from 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays, May 8 and 15, at the Old Town Head Start- Child Care Center.

The six-hour training introduces child care providers to the developmental movement patterns and the effects on babies’ brains as well as cognitive and relationship development. Participants are asked to wear sweat pants, bring a blanket, and come prepared to move on the floor. There is a $10 registration fee.
