ROCKLAND – Brian Quigley of G.M. Pollack and Sons was among the winners at the 14th annual Jewelers of America Affiliate Design Competition.
The contest featured 31 entries from top jewelry designers around the nation. Quigley’s winning entry was a platinum bracelet with a 4.92-carat green tourmaline, six Akoya cultured pearls and diamond melee. To qualify for the national-level competition, Quigley won the Maine Jewelers Association’s design contest.
Quigley received a trophy and certificate for his Category III entry, which features entries whose cost of materials exceeded $3,000. The entries were displayed and judged at the Jewelers Association New York Show on Jan. 25-27.
