CALAIS – Keeping Children Safe’s free mandated-reporting training sessions will be held April 15 at Washington County Community College from 1 to 3:30 p.m. and 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Washington Hancock Community Agency office in Machias.
The training is designed for adults who work in a professional capacity and are mandated by law to report suspected child abuse or neglect to the state. Participants will learn when to report, how to make a report, what to do in urgent situations, and how to protect children and support families.
Preregistration is required.
