SOUTHWEST HARBOR – The Southwest Harbor Conservation Commission is sponsoring a free pruning workshop to area residents, in conjunction with the Hancock County Cooperative Extension, 9:30-11 a.m. Thursday, April 15, at the Charlotte Rhoades Park.

Participants will be presented with pruning techniques with proper use of equipment. Extension educator Marjorie Peronto will teach the free class. The Hancock County Master Gardeners will return to offer free Thursday morning instruction, from April 22 to June 10. For information, call Ann Judd at 244-5497 or the town office at 244-5404.
