Tim Morris of South Portland, an assistant wrestling coach at the University of Southern Maine, has been named head coach of the USA Wrestling-Maine team that will compete in national freestyle and Greco-Roman competitions at Fargo, N.D., in July.

A native of Pittsfield, Mass., Morris is a former a three-year captain of the USM wrestling team and was a three-time USA Wrestling All-American and the 2002 USA Wrestling University national Greco-Roman champion.
