Speedway 95 will open its 2004 racing season Sunday, April 25 at 2 p.m., when the Pro All-Stars Series debuts at the 1/3-mile oval track in Hermon with a 150-lap feature event featuring former series champs Ben Rowe of Turner and Sam Sessions of South Paris.

Speedway 95 will open its 2004 racing season Sunday, April 25 at 2 p.m., when the Pro All-Stars Series debuts at the 1/3-mile oval track in Hermon with a 150-lap feature event featuring former series champs Ben Rowe of Turner and Sam Sessions of South Paris.

As a season warm-up, the annual Speedway 95 Spring Preveiw Mall Show was held Friday and Saturday. The award winners were as follows: Paul White of Calais in pro stock, Deer Isle’s Matt Eaton in limited sportsman, D.J. Moody of Prospect in super street, Glenburn’s Jordan Pearson in strictly street, Winterport’s Travis Beale in sport four, Kenduskeag’s Don Steeves in big enduro, Carmel’s Jesse Smith in little enduro, Bangor’s Melanie Hamel in ladies, Hermon’s Brett Cosby in full-size pickup, and Milford’s Nick Higgins in the Quirk super cup series.
