DOVER-FOXCROFT – A local teenager was lucky Tuesday to have escaped without injury after he lost control of his vehicle on Dexter Road and it struck a tree.
Noah Kennedy, 18, was northbound toward Dover-Foxcroft when he lost control of his vehicle on the slush and ice-covered road, according to Dover-Foxcroft Police Officer Jeff Weatherbee.
Weatherbee said Kennedy’s 1997 Ford F150 pickup truck crossed the centerline, went into the ditch, flipped onto its side and struck a tree. “He was a very lucky person,” Weatherbee said, because the vehicle wrapped about the tree just behind the cab.
The truck was demolished, according to Weatherbee.
