WINTERPORT – The Marsh Stream Down River Race and Sprint Race, originally scheduled for April 4, will be held Sunday.

The sprint race, approximately 1 mile long, will begin at 9 a.m., with signup from 8 to 9 a.m. and the pre-race meeting at 8:45 a.m.

The down-river race, 7 miles long, begins at noon, with signup from 11 a.m. to noon and the pre-race meeting at 11:45. The race course includes Classes 2 and 3 white water.

The races start on the Loggin Road in Winterport, with the down-river race concluding just off Route 1A in Winterport behind George Adams Construction.
