ROCKLAND – Sheriff’s deputies and city police seized $19,000 worth of cocaine and about $8,000 in cash Thursday during a search of a Pleasant Street home that resulted in the arrest of three adults.

Mary Ann Gargan, 46, Daniel Gargan, 35, both of Rockland, and Kristan Hilchey, 30, of Thomaston all face drug-related charges.

Mary Ann Gargan was charged with trafficking in cocaine and violation of probation, while Daniel Gargan was charged with trafficking in cocaine only. Hilchey was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of methadone, both misdemeanor offenses, according to the Knox County Sheriff’s Department.

More than 6 ounces of cocaine was confiscated from the home, according to the Sheriff’s Department. The cocaine has an estimated street value of $19,000. In addition, more than $8,000 in cash was found.

The search warrant was the result of drug investigations under way countywide.

The Rockland Police Department assisted in the execution of the search warrant.
