ACADIA NATIONAL PARK – Park officials closed off the road to Cadillac Mountain on Friday because of April snow showers that greased up the winding road to the top.

“There was enough snow on the top to make a snowball,” Park Ranger Chris Wiebusch said, adding, “It was unsafe to travel on the road.”
