NORTHVILLE, Mich. – ZF Lemforder is laying off 15 employees at its Brewer facility by the end of May. The Brewer operation employs a total of 315 people.
“The timing on a few of our programs has been delayed, making this move necessary, as we are overstaffed by 15 people,” said Kevin Kenny, general manager of ZF Lemforder. “When the changeover is completed for the new programs, we will reassess our personnel situation.”
The Brewer Lemforder plant, part of ZF’s car chassis division, is located in the city’s East-West Industrial Park.
