ROCKPORT – Caleb Peats hit a pair of singles and scored a run to help lead Camden Hills to a 2-1 high school baseball win over Rockland on Monday.
Casey Cates doubled for the Windjammers as Noah Burke and Michael Cummons each singled.
Wes Drinkwater hit two singles for Rockland, and Ben Bandanza-Sturks scored the Tigers’ only run on a fielder’s choice in the fifth inning.

At Belfast, Rick Leavitt threw a one-hitter with seven strikeouts and one walk as the Raiders of Sabattus earned the win.
Oak Hill’s Pat Duchette racked up five RBIs, including three on a home run in the third inning. Wally Rines singled twice and drove in three runs.
Paul Herman singled in the second inning for the Lions. Three Belfast pitchers allowed 10 walks.

At Harrington, Gabe Checker gave up just three runs and four hits while fanning 11 to lead Narraguagus.
Matt Burgess doubled and singled to knock in three runs for the Knights, and Corey Worcester hit a double and a single with an RBI. Saben Rossi and Josh Vandergrift each had a pair of singles.
Ben Leighton hit a single in the sixth inning to drive in two runs for Woodland.

At Corinth, freshman righthander Charles Haney tossed a one-hitter over the mercy rule-shortened five innings and Colby Brown’s two-run double and Tristan Strout’s two-run single sparked a six-run second-inning rally.
Haney struck out four and walked four.
Kurt Smith had two singles and an RBI for Central and Anthony Lancisi doubled.
Robbie Cook’s third-inning single was the only hit for Penquis of Milo.

At Pittsfield, sophomore righty Andrew DeBethune threw a one-hitter, striking out seven and walking six, and aided his own cause with a run-scoring double.
MCI took the lead for good with two runs in the fourth as Victor Quint singled in one run and eventually scored on Matt Huff’s fielder’s choice.
Jake Lasselle had a double and two singles for the host Huskies, while Phil Hendricks and Jeremy West each singled twice.
Aaron Lewis’ one-out single in the sixth for the Mustangs of Thorndike broke up DeBethune’s no-hit bid.

At Harrington, Katie Smith scattered five hits while striking out nine and walking four to lead the Dragons past the Knights.
Smith hit a two-run single in Woodland’s four-run sixth inning and finished with three singles. Kaitlyn Leeman hit an RBI single in the sixth.
Alicia Tenney and Erica Mann each had an RBI single in the seventh as Narraguagus tried to rally. Tenney also had a two-run double in the fifth, and Elise Dublin fanned 12 and walked seven in the loss.

At Corinth, Jenny Rollins hit a grand slam in the second inning and had a pair of singles to drive in a total of seven runs to lead Central to the win.
Shawna Bell tripled, doubled, and singled to knock in two runs for the Red Devils. Jenn Griffith hit a three-run double and Nikki Daniel hit a bases-clearing single.
Erika Morrill had two singles with two RBIs for Penquis of Milo, and Amber Benoit doubled in two runs.

At Camden Hills, Catie Lary scored the game-winning run in the sixth inning off of a Miranda Kelly single to lift Camden Hills past Rockland.
Lary doubled and singled for the Windjammers and Christina Philoon singled and scored. Kelly gave up only three hits, three walks, and no earned runs while fanning six batters.
Nicole Clark hit a pair of singles for Rockland and Caitlin Hynes also singled.
