ACADIA NATIONAL PARK – Some Earth Day activities are set for parts of Acadia National Park.
Environment Maine will sponsor a hike at 10 a.m. today at Cadillac Mountain.
The public is invited to the hike to support efforts to restore clean air in Maine and Acadia National Park.

Meanwhile, Friends of Acadia will sponsor its fifth annual volunteer roadside cleanup Saturday, April 24, as part of Earth Day.
The event involves picking up trash from the roadside and bagging it for collection by the state Department of Transportation.
Participants will receive T-shirts and are invited to have lunch at Mount Desert Island Regional High School after the cleanup.
