FORT KENT – Occupational therapists Melissa St-Jean and Chantal Salazar have joined Northern Maine Medical Center.

St-Jean received a degree in occupational therapy in 2001 from Laval University in Quebec. Before joining NMMC, she worked for Region 4 Hospital Authority, where she was responsible for providing home-based occupational care for residents of Edmundston and Grand Falls, New Brunswick.

A 1994 graduate of Laval University, Salazar received national certification in hand therapy in 2000. She worked at Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital in Salem, N.H., and at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, before joining NMMC.
