MARS HILL – Stevi Fletcher’s two-run single in the sixth gave the host Central Aroostook Panthers the winning margin in a 13-12 softball victory over Southern Aroostook of Dyer Brook Wednesday.
Fletcher finished with two singles and four RBIs. Brittany Lundeen singled twice while Jessica Grew had two singles with two RBIs.
Audrey Charette had a two-run homer in the third plus an RBI triple for the Warriors of Dyer Brook. Jordan Shaller singled twice, doubled and knocked in three runs and MacKenzie Hardy added a pair of singles.

At Washburn, Nicole McLaughlin didn’t allow a hit in four innings and struck out 10 to lift Washburn by East Grand of Danforth in the mutual opener.
McLaughlin aided her own cause with two doubles, two singles and two RBIs. Heidi Goodine and Stephanie Burtt each chipped in with a triple and single with Goodine adding an RBI. Kristin Carter doubled, singled and drove in a run.
Jackie Dodge hit a two-run single in the fifth for East Grand.
