DEXTER – Josh Withee barely outdueled Dexter’s Chris Rabideau, but Rabideau and the Tigers got a 2-1 baseball victory over Foxcroft Academy Wednesday, thanks largely to Rabideau’s offensive heroics.
Rabideau led off the seventh with a double and scored on Tim McCarthur’s single up the middle by avoiding the tag at theplate. Rabideau (1-1) went the distance on the mound with seven strikeouts, one walk and six hits.
Eric Day had an RBI double and a single for the Tigers.
Withee allowed five hits while striking out seven and walking two batters. He also had a double and a single. Tyler Stakutis doubled and singled, but the only run scored on Shawn Grass’ sacrifice fly.

At Mansfield Stadium Wednesday night, Joey Robicheau pitched a five-hitter and hit two singles to lead the golden Bucks past John Bapst of Bangor.
Chad Maguire had a double and a single for the Bucks.

At Lee, Everett Houghton knocked in six runs with two doubles and two singles and Tyler Thompson delivered four more with a double and a single as Lee triumphed.
Thompson’s two-run double and Houghton’s run-scoring double highlighted an eight-run third inning that broke the game open.
Blaine Clark singled twice and winning pitcher Gerry Worster spaced four hits over six innings with seven strikeouts and seven walks.
