Warren woman hurt in Route 235 crash

WARREN – A local woman apparently suffered minor injuries early Wednesday morning when she lost control of her vehicle on a sharp curve along Route 235 and struck a tree and rocks.

Samantha A. Macdougall, 20, of Warren was headed north on Route 235 in a 1999 Chevrolet sedan when the accident happened around 1:15 a.m.

Macdougall was not wearing a seat belt, and her vehicle had $6,000 in damage, according to a Knox County Sheriff’s Department report by Sgt. Steven Burns.

There were no charges, Lt. Lawrence Hesseltine said Wednesday.

The report indicates Warren Rescue responded, but Macdougall was not seen at Penobscot Bay Medical Center in Rockport or Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta, according to hospital representatives.
