PORTLAND – The countdown is on as the Portland Sea Dogs near the 4 million-fan mark in all-time attendance.

Team officials estimate the four millionth fan will walk through the Hadlock Field turnstiles Friday when Portland hosts Norwich. That fan will receive a prize package that includes 2004 season tickets, a skybox for a date later this season, a chance to throw out the first pitch, and other items.
