As a conservative Republican voter, in the June primary I’m looking for a candidate who has the same principles on jobs, taxes, spending and family values. My candidate for the state Senate seat 33 in Penobscot County is Ken Fredette.

Fredette offers a fresh, positive and energetic face to the GOP. He is a first-generation college graduate and started a business from scratch in Newport. He has also served as the chairman of the Sebasticook Valley Credit Union, Newport Board of Appeals and is a JAG officer in the Maine National Guard.

Republicans who are looking for solutions to the state’s problems should join me in voting for Fredette in the June 8 primary.
