MILLINOCKET – Steve Whitney’s two-out single in the seventh tied it and Dylan Hanscom’s two-out base hit in the eighth won it for the Mattanawcook Academy Lynx of Lincoln in a 7-6 baseball win over Stearns Thursday.
Hanscom had two singles and two RBIs, Dustin Hanscom doubled and singled and Brian Berry had two singles for MA.
Ryan Bouchard belted a double and two singles for Stearns, Matt Barnett had a solo homer, Craig Jandreau singled twice and knocked in a pair, George Surette singled twice.

At Orono, Pete Wentworth drove in two runs with four singles and Chris Maguire pitched a 3-hitter for the Bucks.

Dusty Thomas doubled for the Red Riots while Dylan Huckestein had an RBI single.

Aaron Wilson hit a two-run single for Bangor Christian. Steve Blake added an RBI double, Justin Phinney had a double and a single, and Tory Dearborn singled twice.

At Greenville, Forest Hills won the first game 10-0 and Greenville rebounded with a 13-3 win in the second.
In the first game, Roger Paradise struck out seven and walked none while pitching a one-hitter for Forest Hills. He also had two singles and three RBIs. Dustin Allen added a two-run triple.
Dan Gaucher’s single in the second inning was Greenville’s only hit.
In the second game, Corey Woodbury notched a complete-game win and had an RBI double for the Lakers. Eric Driscoll had two singles and two RBIs.
Paradise paced Forest Hills with two singles.
