ROCKLAND – Cheryl LeBlond has been promoted to director of acute services at the Mid-Coast Mental Health Center.
In her new position, LeBlond will be responsible for managing four acute services departments within the organization: the Mobile Crisis Services Team, the Crisis Stabilization Unit, the Access-Intake Program, and the Jail Services Case Management Program.
LeBlond holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Maine and has specialized in crisis intervention since joining MCMHC in 1996. For the past five years she has served as manager of the agency’s Crisis Stabilization Unit.
