Cassie Hintz of Old Town ran a personal best of 10 minutes, 36.24 seconds Friday while finishing second in the 3,200 at the 37th Loucks Games in White Plains, N.Y.

Hintz, a sophomore, finished just behind winner Laura Cummings of Bay Shore, N.Y., who clocked a 10:35.16 after taking the lead on the final turn.
