‘A’ cheering goes south

Kudos to the Bangor Daily News and Ernie Clark for profiling the Maine Principals’ Association.

Executive director Dick Durost and his association certainly have a wide variety of issues that need attention.

Interesting to us is the “other Maine” that they will be discussing is geographical balance.

What did the Bangor Auditorium and Bangor Civic Center do to accommodate the Eastern Maine A Cheering Competition while it was here, to keep it here?

It’s no longer going to be held in the “service” center city, it’s gone south.

Thanks top Husson

Thank you to Gabby Price, athletic director at Husson College, for generously sharing his resources with Bangor and the surrounding community.

I know our children and their friends on the Hurricane swim team have appreciated swimming in the Husson pool.

Our Masters Swim Club also thanks Husson College for the opportunity to train in its pool. Sharing its facilities has demonstrated Husson College’s commitment to the community. We are fortunate to have Husson College in our neighborhood.
