Central High School

CORINTH – Honor parts for the Class of 2004 have been announced by principal Garry Spencer. Commencement exercises will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 13, at the Central High School gymnasium.

James P. Connolly, son of James M. and Kathy Connolly of Corinth, has been named valedictorian for the Class of 2004. He will attend the University of Maine, where he will study engineering.

Connolly is a National Honor Society member and was a delegate to Dirigo Boys State. He was the recipient of the Bausch & Lomb Science Award and selected for the Maine Principals’ Association Principals’ Award.

Connolly played soccer, basketball and was a member of the track team. He was awarded the Coach’s Award in all three sports and made the all-academic basketball team. He is also an Eagle Scout.

Jenna Dauphinee, daughter of Mark and Melody Dauphinee of Corinth, has been named the salutatorian for the Class of 2004. She will attend Husson College in Bangor to study physical therapy.

She is a National Honor Society member and was a delegate to Dirigo Girls State. She represented her class on the student council for four years.

Dauphinee played field hockey, was a member of the track and field team and made the all-academic field hockey team. She served on the prom committee, was a member of the pep band and was active in the Project Adventure program. She was a student volunteer at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.
