EASTPORT – Anthony Lewey gave up just five hits and one walk while striking out eight to give the Shead Tigers a 12-0 high school baseball win over the East Grand Vikings in the first game of a doubleheader Monday.

The Tigers also took the second game 15-1.

In the first game, Craig Hastings hit two triples with an RBI for Shead. Matt Altvater hit a two-run double and Derek Maloney doubled and singled.

Micah Barnes singled and stole a base for East Grand of Danforth.

In the second game, Aaron Sullivan had three singles with three RBIs for Shead and Altvater singled twice.

Adam Beudoin doubled and scored a run for East Grand.
