BANGOR – Tristan Strout doubled twice and singled as the Central Red Devils rallied from a 5-0 first-inning deficit en route to a 9-5 schoolboy baseball victory over the Bangor Christian Patriots Tuesday.
Mike Julian and Anthony Lancisi added two singles each for the Red Devils.
Levi Nickerson allowed just two hits after the first inning, and struck out four batters.
Anthony Cole hit a two-run double for Bangor Christian, while Aaron Wilson singled twice.

At Stacyville, Gerry Worster and Nate Dow combined on a six-inning one-hitter and Everett Houghton had a triple and three singles and drove in two runs as Lee Academy triumphed.
Worster and Dow struck out seven and walked one.
Tyler Thompson had three doubles and two RBIs and Dow singled twice with an RBI.
Cameron Cunningham’s third-inning double was Katahdin’s only hit.

Dexter sweeps Schenck
At Dexter, Chris Rabideau, David Richardson and Tim McCarthy combined for a no-hitter with four strikeouts and three walks for Dexter in the 12-1 win in the second game. The Tigers won the first game 10-0.
In the first game, Mike Martin hit a two-run triple for Dexter. Brian Kelso doubled and singled with one RBI and Rabideau added two singles with an RBI.
Nick Bishop doubled for Schenck of East Millinocket.
In the second game, Kyle Stone, Brandon Woodman and Kelso each had two singles and an RBI for Dexter.

At Orono, Marcus Maffuci had three singles and Tim Buell drove home three runs as Mount Desert Island topped the Red Riots.
Dan Lyons added two singles for the Trojans. Andy Pooler pitched a six-hitter with six strikeouts and two walks.
Ryan Levesque doubled and singled for Orono, while Travis Dunton hit an RBI single.

At Bucksport, Phil Cayford hit a solo home run in the seventh inning to help lead Hermon past Bucksport.
Bill Bart struck out 11 for Hermon. Matt Joy singled to drive in two runs and Dustin Jalbert knocked in a run on a fielder’s choice.
Nye Gifford doubled and singled and scored two runs for Hermon. Robbie Pushard had two singles and Joe Robicheau doubled to drive in two runs.

At Hodgdon, Kevin Ledger singled home the tying run in the fifth inning, then scored the go-ahead run on Seth Dorr’s sacrifice fly as the Hawks earned the victory.
Ledger finished with three singles and two RBIs, while Jordan Quint singled twice and Bruce Currie doubled.
Tyler Schools pitched a seven-hitter for the Hawks.

At Dyer Brook, Travis Brooker had a run-scoring double in the six-run first inning and a two-run single in the five-run sixth to lead Southern Aroostook past Central Aroostook of Mars Hill.
Griffin Hardy had two singles and an RBI for the Warriors and Evan McGary and Adam Anderson had a single and two RBIs each.
Tim Carlson had three singles and an RBI for the Panthers and Bryan Grew had a two-run single.
