MILLINOCKET – Dani Graves allowed four hits and two walks while striking out three to lead Penquis of Milo to a 4-3 softball victory over host Stearns Friday.

Ashley Pelletier had a RBI fielder’s choice in the first inning for the Patriots. Erika Morrill, Mindy Dolley, Megan Knowles, and Amber Benoit each singled.

Dayna Somers hit a RBI single in the third inning for Stearns as Deanna Michaud, Johnna Michaud, and Felicia Achorn each singled.

At Coffin Field in Brewer, Casse Brown pitched a two-hit shutout with one walk and four strikeouts and also had two singles and two RBIs for the Lynx of Lincoln in the win.

Arikka Knights doubled twice and singled, driving in a run for Mattanawcook. Heather Gulesian had two singles with an RBI and Chelsey Nicastra had two singles.

Lissa Bouchard and Michaela Ham each singled for the Pandas.

At Dexter, Jen Griffiths knocked in four runs on a single and a double as the Red Devils clawed the Tigers.

Shawna Bell doubled twice and singled to drive in a pair for Central of Corinth and Jenny Rollins had a single, double and two RBIs. Alyssa Libby pitched a two-hit shutout.

Brittany Veazie and Sarah Carnes singled for Dexter.

At Bangor, Kelly White hit a two-run double in the first inning and allowed just one run, six hits, and one walk while striking out seven to help lead Bangor past Hampden.

Steph Chase singled twice for the Rams and Jessica Tweedie hit a RBI single.

Jenny Shue and Emily Thompson each hit a RBI single for Hampden.

At East Sullivan, Kylie Bragdon hit a three-run home run in the third inning to help lead Sumner to the win.

Jenay Tucker had three singles with two RBIs for Sumner. Rachel Robinson tripled and singled and Nichole Leach had two singles with a RBI.

Theresa Cameron hit a triple in the third inning for Searsport.

At Millinocket, Tyler Emerson plated four runs vie a double and a single as the Minutemen won in five innings.

Matt Wark slammed three triples and drove in two runs for Stearns. Nick Sindo doubled, singled and knocked in a pair while Jordan Burliegh hit three singles and drove in a couple.

Jared Turgeon, Zach Beal and Jared Drinkwater all singled for the Patriots of Milo.

At Dexter, Joey Kane doubled and singled to knock in a run to help lead Central of Corinth past Dexter.

Tristan Strout hit a double for the Red Devils and Kurt Smith singled.

Kyle Stone had two singles with a RBI for the Tigers and Brandon Woodman added two singles.

At Old Town, Cory Estes hit a two-run double and gave up only four hits and one walk while striking three to earn the shutout win for Old Town.

Chris Brewer hit two doubles for Old Town as Jacob Lucas and Brian Lonko each hit a RBI single while Brian’s cousin Nathan hit a double. Chad Dupuis added a pair of singles.

Ben Hawthorne doubled for Nokomis of Newport.

Bangor 2, Hampden 1 (12 inn.)

At Bangor, Josh Young ripped an RBI single to score Eric Anderson in the bottom of the 12th for the Rams.

Young pitched eight innings, giving up just two hits and two walks with 13 strikeouts while Anderson finished the final four innings. Young finished with three singles and Mike Prentiss hit an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth to keep the score tied.

Jason Hutchins’ sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth gave the Broncos a 1-0 lead. Billy Shannon, Pat Moran and Mike Brown each singled.

Mason Bukowski hit a double and two singles to drive in three runs for the Tigers. Jim White had two singles and Evan Alexander hit a RBI single.

Mike Adams doubled for Searsport. Mike Adams singled and Matt Mercier hit a RBI fielder’s choice.
