The University of Maine Cooperative Extension has started a newsletter called “Money$ense.”
The publication is designed for people who are interested in becoming informed consumers and gaining basic money management skills. There will be ideas for people who have trouble finding ways to save. The project is being initiated by Jane Conroy, extension educator in Dover-Foxcroft.
Managing money is a lifelong learning process, Conroy said. She can be reached at 564-3301, 1-800-287-1491, or by email at jconroy@umext.maine.edu.
