It is time the voters consider the issues that are dividing Willimantic and give serious thought to the following issues and to vote on the issues and not your emotions. Emotions represent a neighbor, a friend or maybe a relative, but the issues may represent serious future burden to the taxpayer.

The following issues are a small example of the problems that burden the community:

. the winter roads contract;

. environmental impact due to improper maintenance procedures at the local sand and salt site;

. improper maintenance of voter registration list and town owned buildings;

. the accumulation of unregistered vehicles;

. the lack of any roadside litter cleanup;

. lack of consideration of environmental concerns and disposal of recycled oil;

. slow implementation of notification to residents of sex offenders residing in the town;

. poor public relations between the town administrators and local residents.

These are our reasons to vote for a recall of town officials of the town of Willimantic.
