ORONO – The University of Maine had four student-athletes named to the 2004 University Division Academic All-District 1 At-Large Team, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Men’s ice hockey goalie Frank Doyle and men’s swimmer Jacob Jentzer were named to the first team for the second straight year.

Men’s ice hockey forward Todd Jackson and women’s swimmer Kate Abbott were selected to the second team.
