PORTLAND – Swimmer Ian Crocker has turned pro following a record-setting career at Texas and could earn $1 million in an endorsement deal with Speedo.
Crocker’s agent, Peter Carlisle, confirmed he is in the process of lining up a four-year endorsement deal with the swimming apparel provider.
Crocker, a 22-time All-American and 10-time NCAA champion at Texas, holds four individual world records and was part of two record-setting relay teams. He won gold at the Sydney Olympics as part of the U.S. medley relay team and is a top medal favorite for the Athens Games.
