PRESQUE ISLE – Hospice of Aroostook volunteers are selling $2 pins to help support their hospice and community bereavement efforts. The pins are made of clay and are in the shape of a butterfly. The Hospice of Aroostook logo is a butterfly perched on top of an open rose.
The Hospice volunteers hope the pins will be distributed throughout Aroostook County to heighten awareness of Hospice of Aroostook and their bereavement services.
“We are asking $2 per pin to help support hospice and community bereavement efforts,” said Robin Holmes, Hospice of Aroostook volunteer manager and supervisor.
Hospice care consists of medical providers, nurses, social workers, clergy and volunteers who care for the physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of the whole person and family.
For information, call Robin Holmes at 498-2578.
