PORTLAND – The 2004 Maine Games is still accepting registrations for all of its individual and teams sports for this year’s annual sports festival. Events begin the weekend of June 12-13 and run on weekends through the month of June in the Greater Portland area.
More than 3,000 athletes in 20 different events are expected to take part this year, ranging from ages six to 80.
Events include: archery, baseball, basketball, baton twirling, bowling, 5k road race, fencing, field hockey, horseshoes, youth ice hockey, lacrosse, orienteering, soccer, sporting clays, table tennis, tennis, track and field, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, and wrestling.
