GOP candidate names his campaign manager

Brian Hamel, the Republican candidate for Maine’s 2nd Congressional District, has named Benjamin Golnik his campaign manager. Golnik has served as executive director of the Vermont Republican Party since March 2003. While a student at Middlebury College, he was active in state and national campaigns.

Brian Hamel, the Republican candidate for Maine’s 2nd Congressional District, has named Benjamin Golnik his campaign manager.

Golnik has served as executive director of the Vermont Republican Party since March 2003. While a student at Middlebury College, he was active in state and national campaigns.

Before working with the Vermont GOP, Golnik served as a legislative staffer for U.S. Sen. Michael Crapo, R-Idaho, working on such issues as foreign affairs, military, veterans, campaign finance, energy, government affairs, space and science.

Golnik begins his duties with the Hamel for Congress campaign June 1.
