NEW LONDON, Conn. – Orono’s Kate Kovenock, a junior at Connecticut College, has been named to the District 1 at-large team of the College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-America program. Kovenock won a national title at the Division III title meet in the 50-yard freestyle last March and earned All-America honors in the 50-, 100- and 200-yard freestyle races.
