University of Southern Maine freshman Trey Gadbois became the first track and field performer in team history to earn All-America honors in the outdoor season. The Portland native finished eighth in the 110-meter hurdles Saturday at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Decatur, Ill.

University of Southern Maine freshman Trey Gadbois became the first track and field performer in team history to earn All-America honors in the outdoor season. The Portland native finished eighth in the 110-meter hurdles Saturday at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Decatur, Ill. His time was 15.08 seconds.

Also Saturday, USM junior Kristen Sinclair of Manchester finished ninth in the women’s javelin and barely missed All-America honors with a throw of 39.53 meters.
