BRUNSWICK – Tenth-seeded Brunswick was disqualified from the Eastern Maine Baseball Tournament and will be replaced by Gardiner, according to Brunswick athletic director Richard Crawford. Last week during a scrimmage game, a volunteer umpire ejected a Brunswick player, but the ejected athlete played in the Tuesday Class A Preliminary game against Gardiner, which is against MPA rules. The MPA then disqualified the Brunswick team.
