Easton Junior-Senior High School

EASTON – Donna Lisnik, principal of Easton Junior-Senior High School, has announced the honor parts for the Class of 2004. Graduation will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, June 4.

Sean O’Mara, son of Gwen and Bernard O’Mara of Easton, has been named valedictorian for the Class of 2004. He will attend the University of Maine to study pre-medicine.

Sean was a member of varsity soccer, band, chorus, jazz choir and was selected for All-Aroostook band all four years of high school. He is also a member of All State chorus, math team, student council, National Honor Society, varsity club and is co-president of the French club. O’Mara was a junior exhibition speaker and was in the cast of the Easton Theatre Company productions, the senior play and the school’s one-act play.

Michael Osgood, son of Ann and Tom Osgood of Easton, has been named salutatorian for the Class of 2004. He will attend the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.

He is president of the student council, co-president of the French club and vice president of the National Honor Society and varsity club. He was recently selected as the recipient of the Maine Principals’ Association Award.

Osgood played varsity soccer, volleyball and basketball. He was selected to be a member of both the All Aroostook Band and All Aroostook Chorus and plays in the community band. He was in the cast of the senior play, the one-act play, Easton Theatre Company productions and was a junior exhibition speaker.

Valerie Martin, daughter of Lorie and Vaughn Martin of Easton, has been named first honor essayist for the Class of 2004. She will attend Indiana Wesleyan University to study computer graphics and pre-art therapy.

She has been part of the gifted and talented program and was selected for the All Aroostook chorus. She was the winning junior exhibition speaker and a cast member in the one-act play.

Martin has been a member of varsity cheering and soccer. She is an editor of the yearbook, vice president and secretary of the National Honor Society and class marshal. She sings in the jazz choir and is active in her church, entertaining and teaching through her talents as a puppeteer.

Coleby Lamoreau, son of Cole and Rae Lamoreau of Easton and Shelia Bell-Isle of Norway, has been named second honor essayist. He will attend Daniel Webster College in Nashua, N.H., to study aviation flight operations.

He played varsity soccer and participated in the senior play and one-act play. He has been active in Future Farmers of America and Envirothon and has won numerous awards at the state and national levels, including a national award in environmental natural resources, a national award in forestry and a silver medal as a member of the Farm Business Management Team.

Lamoreau is co-president of the French club, a member of the varsity club and math team and is a class marshal.
